Elements:
Line is depicted very well in the first picture by showing heavy, thick lines and also light, thin lines going every type of direction. The picture almost has an angry feel to it.
Shape is shown by a repetitiveness of squares inside each other forming a very geometric artwork.
Color, in the third picture, is very vibrant. Not only are there many shades of color, but there are also light and dark versions of such colors.
Value is obvious in the next picture because the range of black and white are all over the grey scale.
There is definitely a 3D form in the apple and bullet picture. Its as if you could reach out and grab both.
Texture seems almost extreme in the fifth picture. Even from the angle of the picture I had taken, I can feel on my fingertips a sense of roughness this picture displays.
The hills in the background and pathways leading to those hills provide the last picture with a sense of space and depth as if I could easily go for a stroll.
Principles:
The mirrored background and how each side of the picture are almost identical leave me feeling that it has a sense of balance. The picture is almost asymmetrical if it weren't for the different characters displayed in the center of each side.
The second pictures demonstrated contrast by showing several opposites of colors on the color wheel, such as red vs green and blue vs orange.
With the colored woman sitting in the center of a black and white audience, the emphasis is directed towards her. My eyes almost see nothing else.
The figure's arms pointing outward show a sense of movement. I can almost feel the arms stretching out and my eyes follow along with it.
The sunflowers and very similar houses in the background show a certain pattern distributed throughout the artwork.
The subway pictures offers a type of rhythm with the people grabbing the handle to stay still for the constant movement. I can feel my body bobbing up and down with each ride along the track.
All elements in this last picture come together to develop a whole picture, rather than looking at each individual part. The calmness of the colors and swirls of paint take me on a trip through the painting.
